Back to School Lookbook!

It's that time of the year again; school's starting and for some of you, it may have begun already. So I thought it would be the perfect time to create a lookbook with five outfit ideas so that whilst you're sat in your third maths lesson of the day, wishing that a black hole would open up and swallow you in, you can think to yourself; at least I look cute today.

Outfit One

For this look I tried to go for a casual chic style. I kept it simple with staple items like a white blouse and skinny jeans, then paired them with classics like the black&white clutch and black boots.

Since this is such a versatile look, any colours can be combined with it when it comes to makeup. Personally I like to keep it neutral with nude lipsticks and nail polish.

Blouse - H&M £12.99

Skinny Jeans - Forver21 £7

Boots - Primark £15

Clutch bag - Primark £6

Sunglasses - H&M £6

Outfit Two

This look is sort of along the more rustic side; with the combination of denim and tan. I like the comfortable, casual feel of this look; styling your hair and pairing up jewelry isn't entirely necessary with the excuse that it looks 'rustic and natural'.

Denim Shirt - Primark £10

 Black leggings - Primark £6

Floral messenger bag - Boohoo.com £15

Ankle boots - Schuh £65

Outfit Three

This outfit focuses around the very simple idea of being cute. I used accented accessories like the hat and glasses to boost the character of an otherwise plain look.

The burst of colour from the skirt also gives the opportunity to coordinate the rest of the look with maybe a coral lipstick and orange nail polish.

Striped boyfriend shirt - Primark £3.50

Orange Skater skirt - Primark £6

Straw boater hat - River Island £10

Glasses - Forever21 £4.50

Bow ring - River Island £5

Outfit Four

I love to show different sides of my personality through my clothes, and through this outfit I tried to show my more sophisticated side. I used a dress as a shirt by covering the bottom with a skirt; the muted tones of white and baby blue create quite a romantic feel.

Coordination is easy with this look; eye makeup can be kept neutral or can match with icy blue shades whilst lips look best with a sweet baby pink colour. Nail wise it's similar; match with baby blue polish or contrast with baby pink.

Chiffon dress - Primark £10

White skater skirt - H&M £12.99

White quilted bag - Ebay £8.99

Cream heels - Miss Selfridge £40

Pearl portrait earrings - Primark £5

Outfit Five

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I love urban style looks. This look in particular is a kind of urban-casual-chic; with the combination of sporty items like the hat and heeled trainers and classics like the clutch and skinny jeans, it creates twist on both urban and chic fashion.

I always find coordinating these kinds of looks to be a lot of fun. The strong urban style gives you an excuse to use darker tones on your lips and eyes whilst matching your nails to any gold or silver jewelry you're wearing with metallic polishes finishes the look.

Paisley T-shirt - Primark £6

Skinny jeans - Forever21 £7

Gold emblem snapback - River Island £25

Cross earrings - River Island £5
